This elegant Edwardian 9ct Gold Suffragette pendant was made Circa 1910. It is adorned with a 0.25ct Amethyst in the centre, a lovely 0.20ct Peridot dropper and decorated in lovely cream Pearls.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.
All set in a beautifully designed Yellow Gold gallery and hallmarked 9ct on the reverse. The pendant would look fabulous displayed on a Gold chain.
